May Market Brief – NWMAR Highlights

In May 2026, the housing market across Bartow and Gordon counties showed stronger sales activity in both markets, with month-over-month gains in homes sold and continued year-over-year inventory growth. Pricing also strengthened across both counties, while elevated active listings and months of supply continued to give buyers more options heading into the summer market. - Bartow County – May 2026:
Bartow County recorded 155 single-family home sales in May, up 6.9% from May 2025 and 24.0% from April. Pricing strengthened, with the median sales price at $350,000, up 4.5% year over year and 6.1% month over month, while the average sales price reached $385,500, up 1.6% from last year but down 2.2% from April. Inventory continued to build, with 552 active listings, up 21.6% year over year and 11.5% month over month. New listings totaled 218, down 4.0% from last year and 12.5% from April, while months’ supply rose to 4.55.
- Gordon County – May 2026:
Gordon County recorded 68 single-family home sales in May, up 88.9% from May 2025 and 36.0% from April. Pricing also strengthened, with the median sales price rising to $325,500, up 14.6% year over year and 10.7% month over month, while the average sales price reached $381,000, up 31.6% from last year and 11.9% from April. Inventory remained elevated, with 220 active listings, up 31.0% year over year but down 1.8% month over month. New listings totaled 80, up 15.9% from last year and down 21.6% from April, while months’ supply reached 4.66.
