WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS

Membership with the West Metro Board of REALTORS® means being a part of the nation's largest and most active real estate association. Membership means continuing the more than 100 years of involvement in the development of the real estate industry throughout the nation, the state of Georgia, and in our local community. Membership provides a purpose, vision, and mission to promote and protect the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement, and a means of defending the American dream of homeownership and private property rights. Nationally recognized, members of the West Metro Board of REALTORS® aim higher, gain more, and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.

ARE YOU REPRESENTING YOUR INDUSTRY AS A REALTOR®?

A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When joining the West Metro Board of REALTORS®, membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® is gained.
